Chestnut Festival- la castagna in festa

 

Arcidosso, in the province of Grosseto, from the 18th October  to the 20th and from the 25th to the 27th October 2013

For two weekends the town, where you can also admire the castle Aldobrandeschi houses the XXVI edition of the festival of the chestnut. The party includes a commemoration of the traditions surrounding the harvest of chestnuts and its use in food.

In addition to the streets of the center will be set up food stands where you can enjoy foods made ​​with chestnuts and try the excellent chestnut beer!

All accompanied by music traveling shows and concerts for the town's streets and markets of local crafts, antiques in the Parco del Pero, flea market in Piazza Indipendenza and whorkshops for children!

For this occasion will also be guided tours of the wineries in the historic center.

Per due fine settimana la cittadina, in cui potete anche ammirare il castello aldobrandesco, ospita la XXVI edizione della festa della castagna. La festa prevede una rievocazione delle tradizioni popolari che circondavano la raccolta delle castagne ed il suo utilizzo nell'alimentazione.
Inoltre per le strade del centro saranno allestiti stands gastronomici, dove potete gustare cibi a base di castagne e provare l'ottima birra di castagne!
Il tutto accompagnato da musica itinerante, spettacoli, concerti per le vie del paese e mercatini dell'artigianato locale, dell'antiquariato nel Parco del Pero e delle pulci in Piazza Indipendenzae per i più piccoli laboratori didattici!
Per l'occasione verranno anche organizzate visite guidate alle cantine nel centro storico.

The Harvest Festival- Festa della Vendemmia

 Among the sweet rolling hills Casciano the ancient agricultural practice of harvest back to engage and fascinate, and with it one of the most beloved of the territory: the harvest Festival. The guest of honor is the wine, celebrated by a wide range of events organized with the involvement of the community.

All are invited to celebrate the harvest season and to participate in the many events, in various forms, will enhance the quality and potential of the territory: from sports to entertainment, from music to the commemoration of the ancient Mesteri to food and bicycle race, games tradition.

Since Thursday afternoon the center of Mercatale will celebrate and every evening you can enjoy dinner at the food stalls, with of course a wine tasting in the area.

Tra i dolci saliscendi delle colline sancascianesi l'antica pratica agricola della vendemmia torna a coinvolgere e affascinare e con essa uno degli appuntamenti più amati del territorio: la Festa della Vendemmia. Ospite d'onore è il vino, celebrato da un'ampia rosa di eventi organizzati con il coinvolgimento della comunità.
Tutti sono invitati a festeggiare la stagione della vendemmia e a partecipare ai numerosi eventi che, sotto forme diverse, esalteranno le qualità e le potenzialità del territorio: dallo sport allo spettacolo, dalla musica alla rievocazione degli antichi mesteri, dalla gastronomia alla gara ciclistica, ai giochi della tradizione.
Dal giovedì pomeriggio il centro di Mercatale sarà in festa e tutte le sere potrete gustare un'ottima cena presso gi stand eno- gastronomici, con, naturalmente una degustazione di vini tipici della  zona.
